John C. Gogliettino is awarded "Legion of Honor" status recognizing 25 years of service to the Kiwanis Club of Danbury.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED
In September the Club recognized the fifth scholarship winner. He was away on a community service trip and missed the previous presentations. Michael McCormick graduated from Bethel High School. He received $1,000.00 from the Ray Rubley Memorial Scholarship Michael will be majoring in chemistry at the University of Connecticut. He was one of a group of 44 who went to Camden NJ to do community service projects. They worked on two old age homes, multiple shelters and did everything from clean up to home repairs.
